(From Our Own Correspondent.) MILTON, February. 15. PRESENTATION. At the Bruce Horticulture Society’s autumn shov this afternoon tie Very Rev. Father Howard, who has recently been transferred to Invercargill, was met by members of the eommitte? and presented with a rolled-gold fountain pen and Eversbarp pencil in recognition of his eritnrious lengthy services to the socituv. As one of its largest exhibitors. an ex-president, and committeeman for several years, the rev. gentleman has p. vetl r tower of strength t„ the society. Appreciation of bis valued services were tendere ' by the president (Mr C. Gregory). secretary (Mr George Contis). judge (Mr E. A Hamel- Dunedin). ami Mr Thomas Moir. The Rev. Father Howard, in responding, thanked members fo their kindly words and gift of remembrance.
