MONTHLY MEETING. -The monthly meeting of the Otago Land Board was held yesterday, and was attended by Messrs R. S. Galbraith (chairman), James Smith, T. A. Munro, C, J. Inder, and George Livingstone. APPLICATIONS FOR LAND, R. M. Williamson applied for a right to occupy part' of section 32; Elderslie Settlement, containing approximately a quarter of an acre.—Year to year license granted for water supply purposes at an annual rental of 5s per annum. Albert Edward Wood, of Dunback, applied to purchase the road reserve adjoiningsections 1 and 6, block VIII, town ~ a . yneB * area 2 roods 23 perches.— nield inspector to report. , The Otago Education Board applied for a right to occupy section 17, block VI, Nenthorn Survey District, area 2 acres. —Year to year right granted at an annual rental of Is. The survey having been completed, the board was asked to consider the final disposal of section 95. block I, Blackstone Survey District, to W. G. Beaton applied for a right to occupy an area of Crown land adjoining Sections 2 and 32, 24 and 26, block 111, Kawarau Survey District.—Granted at an annual rental of £l. . William Lutjens applied for an occupation . lease over section 120, block I, Teviot Survey District, area 1 acre.— Granted at a capital value of £5 per acre. The administrator of the estate of the late John Alexander Pitt applied for a year-to-year license over land adjoining section 45, block VI, Rankleburn Survey District, area 100 acres.—Right to occupy granted to Henry Ernest Pitt at an annual rental of 10s. FORFEITURE. The board was asked to consider the question of forfeiture in the case of M. E. O’Boyle, lessee of section 13, block I, Benmore S.D.—The lease was declared forfeited. DETERMINATION OF LEASE. William M'Laren, licensee of allotment 2, Shag Point, requested that his license be cancelled.—License cancelled from October 11, 1928, “THIRDS,” ETC.
