BLACK FOG IN LONDON

S, at's.s p.m.) London .was this morning enveloped in a black fog. During the . week-end slight, rain and snow froze on' the road surface in many parts of the country, and motoring became dangerous, many minor accidents occurring in parts of London. Early this morning there were scenes which on a lesser scale resembled those of last winter’s “silver thaw.”
