HELD ON ANOTHER CHARGE. '< ENTERED CANADA ILLEGALLY. (United Prew Assoc at Ion.; (Br Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) _ VANCOUVER December 13. The Rev. Robertson Orr was held by the immigration authoritiea on intortna tiOD from Ottawa alleging that ho bad entered Canada illegally. Orr waa formerly pastor of a large Presbyterian church in Vancouver. He was suspended after inquiry into his conduct with a lady member of his congregation. Later he was made co-respon-dent in a divorce action brought by cordon Fleck. The court held that adultery was proved, and granted an absolute divorce, with costs against Orr. The pastor latw assaulted the lawyer for Fleck, and was fined 100 dollar* or two months' imprisonment. His wife was the subject of a mysterious assault in his home after the divorce case. There are no. details as to who lal.-? the charge at Ottawa. Orr entered Canada from Wellington In 1923. He was arrested while attending a meeting of a commission to decide if his suspension were to be permanent.— Australian Press Association. BOARD GRANTS RELEASE. VANCOUVER, December 13. (Received Dec. 14, at 5.5 p.m.) After a lengthy hearing by the Immigration Board, the Rev. Robertson Orr was released. It waa stated that he had been an inmate of a mental institution in New Zealand and though he was a British subject he could be deported. Orr produced documents, one of which was signed by the late Prime Minister, Mr Massey, that he was of good character and reputation in New Zealand. Orr said: "It's the first square deal I've ever got from the courts or authorities in Canada."—Australian Press Association. • ,-
