COMMITTEE REPORTS. The Works Committee will recommend to the meeting of the Citv Council on Wednesday night that the application for consent to a proposed right-of-way over part allotments 13 and 14, Hopetoun estate, fronting Glen avenue, be granted, subject to the .purchaser of the property (Janies Sydney Faulkner) entering into an agreement to form, metal (or, at the option of the council, asphalt), light, drain, and maintain the right-of-way to the satisfaction of the council. The committee will also recommend that permission be granted the Australasian Automatic Weighing Machine Company, Ltd., to erect a small type weighing machine in King Edward street, near CargiU’s corner, subject to the usual conditions laid down by the council, and to the payment of the prescribed rental of £3 per annum in advance.

Constructing a concrete retainirig wall along the whole length of the frontage of the property of .Mr C. G. Such statement shall be supplied at" least, once each month and shall contain the date of such supply, the number of carcasses or portion of carcasses forwarded, and the name of the vendor to whom such meat was supplied, (b) Sec--tion 27 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting the word “ seven ” from the second proviso and substituting the word “ten.” FINANCE COMMITTEE.
