A message from St. Louis, Missouri, states that the Budget of the National Democratic Committee calls tor 4,000,000 dollars to be raised for expenditure on the Presidential campaign. Mr J. B. Raskob (chairman) announced-on Wednesday that 500,000 lollars would be expended to gain the support of the com belt' States and 600,000 dollars on a radio broadcasting campaign.—Australian Press Association—United Service. Mr Edward Merrill and Mr Edward Ronne, millionaire, Buffalo manufacturers, flying a Ronncs plane, left Ithaca for New York on Monday night, but did not arrive there. Army officials have joined the friends of the missing men in a systematic and scientific search by aeroplanes.—United Service.
