SOLDIER’S PECULIAR GIFT.

A soldier posted five hand grenades to his parents,-suggesting that the content! of the parcel would be useful for fishing. While tne puzzled recipients were examining the gift a grenade exploded, killing both and severely damaging the house.—Australian Press Association — United Service.
