SAN FKANCISfCO, August S.—Sailed: Makura, for Wellington. PANAMA, August B.—Arrived: Norfolk, from Auckland. CALCUTTA, August 7.—Sailed: Sussex, for Auckland, via ports. The Anglo-Colomblan, with a cargo of sulphur from Galveston, was 13 miles off the Heads at 5 p.m. yesterday. She will berth this morning at Port Chalmers to discharge. The Walkouatti sailed yesterday morning for Lyttelton and Wellington to discharge Uie remainder of her general cargo and coal from Australian ports. The vessel will afterwards load at Tlmaru, Dunedin, and Blulf for Sydney. She Is due back at this port about August 20. The Wlngatul developed engine trouble on the passage south from Wellington on Wednesday night, and was docked at Lyttelton yesterday to undergo repairs. She is expected to leave the Canterbury port on Tuesday for Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin. The vessel is due at this port about August 16. The Kablka is now expected at Dunedin on Monday from Napier to load general cargo. She is timed to sail on Monday night for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne, via ports. The Federal Line, steamer Huntingdon is due at Port Chalmers to-morrow from Liverpool, via northern ports, to discharge the remainder of her Home cargo. The Calm is due at Dunedin to-morrow from Bluff, and is timed to sail on Monday evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Bowen left Port Chalmers yesterday morning for Lyttelton to continue Homeward loading. The vessel will also load at New Plymouth, Wanganui roadstead, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. The Port Bowen Is to sail Anally from Auckland on September 5 for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain. The steamer Antonio sailed from Casa Blanca. Morocco, on August 2, with a full cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland and Lyttelton. She is expected at Auckland about September 11. The Maungauul is scheduled to leave Wellington on August 14 for San Francisco, via Rarotonga and Papeete. The Waitemata was to leave Newcastle on Wednesday for Suva, thence to Vancouver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles to load for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson, New Plymouth, and probably Bluff. The Walruna, from British Columbia ports was due at San Francisco yesterday. She proceeds thence on August 13 to Los Angeles, where she will complete loading for Papeete, Auckland, Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth. She will clear Los Angeles on August 15. _ The Walotapu left Suva on July 22. Is due at Vancouver on August 13, and will complete loading at San Francisco and Los Angeles for Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. She will clear Los Angeles on September 5. Cabled news has been received by the Union Company that the tanker Otokla left San Luis Obispo on August 4 for Wellington. The vessel is bringing a cargo of fuel oil for discharge into the company's tanks at Miramar. The Shaw, Savlll, and Albion Company advises that the new motor ship Taranaki has been delayed in the loading of her Gisborne cargo, owing lo bad weather at that port. She was expected to leave Gisborne yesterday for Auckland, .vid will sail finally from the latter port about Tuesday for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain.

INCOSIING VANCOUVER MAIL. The R.M.S. Niagara, from Vancouver, via Honolulu and Suva, Is due at Auckland on Blonday morning. She will leave at 5 p.m. the following day for Sydney. PAKEHA DUE ON TUESDAY. Messrs Dalgety and Co. advise that the Shaw, SavlU Line steamer Pakeha, which arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Liverpool, via ports, la to sail on Monday for Dunedin. The vessel is now due here on Tuesday. After the remainder of her Home cargo has been discharged the Pakeha will go to Bluff to commence loading for London and West of England ports. FORT NAPIER LEAVES PANAMA. The C. and O. Line has been notified by cable that the Fort Napier left Panama canal on August 6 for Suva, Auckland, Dunedin, and Bluff. She Is due at Auckland about September 5. REMUERA DELAYED. A wireless message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the captain of the Remuera en route from London and Southampton, states that the vessel is belug delayed by bad weather. The message also states that the Remuera Is now expected to arrive at Wellington on Tuesday. MAUI POMARE FROBI NIUE ISLAND. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co; advise that the Government motor ship Maul Pomare is scheduled to leave Niue Island on Tuesday direct for Dunedin with passengers and a shipment of fruit. The vessel Is due here on August 20, and is timed to sail the same day for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland to complete discharge. PAPANUI FROBI CANADA. A wireless message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the captain of the Papanui states that the vessel will arrive at Auckland about 8 a.m. to-day from Blontreal, Sydney (Cape Breton), New York, and Newport News. The Papanui Is bringing Canadian and American cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She should arrive at this port about August 24. BIANUKA TO BESUBIE. The Union Company's Blanuka, which is now undergoing an extensive overhaul aud survey at Port Chalmers, is to resume her running In the Blelbourue passenger service towards the end of this month. The vessel is scheduled to leave Dunedin on August 23 for Blclbourne, via Lyttelton and Wellington. CARGO FROBI PACIFIC COAST. Advice received by Blessrs Turnbull, Blartin, and Co. states that the American steamer Golden State has been fixed to load at Pacific Coast ports Oils month for Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin. The vessel is scheduled to leave Los Angeles on August 30. SHAW, SAVILL PASSENGER SHIPS. The Shaw, Savlll and Albion liner lonic Is scheduled to clear Southampton on August 17 with passengers, mail, and cargo for New Zealand. The cargo will be unloaded at Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on September 24 and at Auckland a week later. The Mataroa Is to leave Southampton for New Zealand on September 21. She is due at Wellington to land passengers on October 27, and will afterwards unload at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, and Timaru. The Tamaroa is to leave Southampton for Wellington and Auckland on November 9, and is due at Wellington oij December 15 .

Cable advice received by the Union Company states that the Sussex left Calcutta on August 7 for Penang, Singapore, and Samarang to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. The vessel is due at Auckland about September 15, and at Dunedin about September 27. CAMBRIDGE PROM LIVERPOOL. Wireless advice received by the Federal Line from the captain of the Cambridge states that the vessel will arrive at Auckland on Tuesday from Liverpool. The Cambridge is bringing general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. She Is expected at this port about August 31. PERSONAL ITEM. From London and Southampton, via Colon, Panama, and Wellington, the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruapehu arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning. The vessel was berthed at the Victoria wharf to land a number of passengers and discharge a large quantity of general cargo. The Ruapehu left Southampton on June 29, and arrived at Wellington on Wednesday afternoon. She will sail about Wednesday next for Lyttelton, and New Plymouth to complete discharge, and will afterwrds load products at Oamaru, Bluff, and Port Chalmers. The Ruapehu will complete loading at northern ports, and will sail from Wellington on September 12 for Southampton and London, via Panama.
