OTAGO LAND BOARD.

A meeting of the Otago Land Board was held yesterday, and was attended by Messrs J. Macdonald (chairman), James Smith, T. A. Munro, G. J. Inder, G. Livingstone. LAST CHANCE IRRIGATION BLOCK. The board was asked to classify the land recently surveyed in the above block in Fraser and Cairnhill survey districts. —The land to be classified as third class. The commissioner advised that the survey had now been completed of the sections in the Last Chance block. _ The board was asked to consider the disposal of the areas applied for by Messrs L. H. Drnnisten and V. A. J. R. Watson, secretary of the Middlemarch Soldiers’ Association, wrote on behalf of the soldier settlers on Gladbrqok and Poplar Grove settlements, applying for revaluation and reduction of rentals of their holdings.—Resolved to refer the matter to the Dominion Revaluation Board.
