Few may know that Germany has the largest number of tennis players next to England, who are members of clubs. England leads with 250,000 club members, followed after a great gap by Germany with 85,000. The United States and Australia each have 80,000. France 75,000, Italy 15,000, Czecho-Slovakia 12,700, Belgium 12,000 and Holland 8700.
