DUNEDIN COMPETITIONS SOCIETY.

The Dunedin Competitions Society’s twenty-seventh annual festival will commence on Septentber 18, and entries will close on Wednesday, August 8. Everything points to the coining festival being a most successful one. Mr Clement May has been appointed judge of the elocution sections, Mr Alfred Worsley (Christchurch) judge of the instrumental sections. Dr C. A. Jarman, of Launceston, will judge the vocal sections, and Miss May Thorne the national dancing. Arrangements for entries are advertised elsewhere.
