FORESTERS.
The fortnightly meeting of Court Pride of the Leith, A.0.F., was held on Wednesday last, when there was a large attendance of members. A special welcome was extended to P.D.C.R. Bro. W. Black, an old member of the court, now resident at Alexandra, and P.C.R. Bro. J. Benfell, on behalf of the members, expressed the hope that Bro. Black would soon be restored to his usual good health again. In replying, Bro. Black stated it was a pleasure to him to visit his old court, and he thanked the members for their good wishes. He congratulated them on the splendid progress the court had made aud was still making. The balance sheet and report for the past half-year were tendered by the auditors, P.C.R.’s Bros. R. S. Vercoe, J. Benfell, and W. J. Duncan, all of whom spoke regarding the results disclose*!, which showed that the court was in a healthy 1 condition, with a membership of 70. The ' remarks of the auditors were supple- 1 mented by the court secretary, who gave | some interesting figures from the last ' edition of the official directory of the Order. This showed that Court Pride of the Leith was the thirty-first largest , court in the Order, and was sixth in place . for introducing new members last year 1 Two new members, were admitted during ' the meeting. c
