(Received July 3, at 7.25 p.m.) In Berlin yesterda; a luncheon was given in honour of Sir Robert Lindsay, the British Ambassador, who is returning to London to become Permanent UntlerSecretary at the Foreign Office. Sir Robert Lindsay has received .■ piece of presentation plate from the German Government, and when yesterday he left Berlin for London the Diplomatic Corps and representatives of the German Government and of the British colony wore at the station to hid him farewell.
