ROXBURGH NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) ROXBURGH, June 29. A fall of snow which has been threatening for some days occurred here during the night, and this morning there was a heavy coating varying from four inches to seven inches. The glass is very low and the weather is still unsettled. So far the winter has been very open and much less severe than last year. During June of 1027 frost occurred every day, eight, nine and 12deg being registered on numerous occasions. This year there has only been to-day’s frost for this month, the highest being 7dog.
