The Holm dale, which arrived at Dunedin early yesterday morning from Wellington sailed late last night tor Oamaru, Tlmaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington and Wanganui. The Kahlka sailed last night for Oamaru, Tlmaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The Corlnna sailed last night for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth, via the usual way ports-. The Kurow sailed last night for Bluff and Port Craig. She will return to Bluff, and thence Dunedin to load for Wellington. Picton, and Auckland The vessel is due at this port about the end of this week. The Progress is due at Dunedin on Thursday from Wellington to load general cargo for New Plymouth and Port Waikato. The Gale, which was delayed at Lyttelton yesterday owing to heavy rain, was expected to sail last night for Dunedin. She should arrive this evening, and is now timed to sail to-morrow evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Waltomo was expected to leave Newcastle on Saturday with a cargo of coal for discharge at Lyttelton and Dunedin. The ferry steamer Wahine commenced ner annual overhaul at Lyttelton last Thursday, and the Maori, which has just finished overhaul, has taken the Wahlne’s place in the Lyttelton-Wellington service. , _ The Port Curtis is now loading at Bluff. She will next proceed to Wellington, Wanganui roadstead. New Plymouth, Opua, and Auckland to complete loading. The Port Curtis will sail finally from Auckland on June 30 for Avonraouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via Las Palmas. RUAHINE DUE TO-MOBROW. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Buahine, which was delayed at Lyttelton yesterday owing to heavy rain, is expected to sail to-day for Port Chalmers, where she should arrive to-morrow. The Buahine has a large quantity of general cargo from London for discharge at this port. CARGO FROM NEW YORK. The A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Borderer was expected to leave New York on June 8 with American cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She should arrive at Auckland about July 14. PORT SYDNEY TO LOAD. Messrs J. W. Swift and Co. advise that the C. and D. Line steamer Port Sydney is now due at Bluff about June 20 from Australia to commence Homeward loading. Her other loading ports are Port Chalmers, Wanganui, Napier, and Wellington. The vessel is expected at Port Chalmers about June 23. ROTORUA LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON. Cable advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Rotorua, after loading at London, left Southampton last Friday afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Port Chalmers. The next steamer to reach New Zealand with passengers from Sydney will be the Maunganul, which is to leave Sydney on Thursday, and is due at Wellington on June 18. The next Sydney passenger steamer to reach Auckland will be the Marama, which is scheduled to leave Sydney on June 15 and to arrive at Auckland on Juno 19. PERSONAL ITEMS. The Cumberland, which was due at Wellington yesterday from Liverpool and Auckland, is commanded by Captain D. MacMillan. Mr F. W. Ross, late third engineer of the Marama, has resigned to take up a shore position in Sydney. Mr H. F. Miller, third engineer of the Kartigi, is at present ashore in Dunedin. WEST CARMONA IN PORT. The American steamer West Carmona arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from Pacific Coast ports, via Auckland and WeiUngton. The vessel was berthed at the Victoria wharf, where the remainder of her freight, consisting of general merchandise, case oil, and lumber, is being discharged. The cargo was loaded at Gray’s Harbour, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and San Pedro. The West Carmona left San Pedro on May 2, and arrived at Auckland on May 26. Captain A. Sbjellcnip Is in command, and the following are the officers: —Chief, Mr H. Jacobson; second, Mr W. Warnell; third, Mr F. Graham; chief engineer, Mr P. Taube: first assistant, Mr W. Crawford; second, Mr G. Trahan: third, Mr W. Emmons: wireless operator, Mr Chadwick; chief steward, Mr J. Farrell. The West Carmona will sail on Saturday for Apia, Honolulu, and San Francisco. When she arrives at the latter port her name will be changed to Golden State. TRANSPACIFIC CARGO SERVICE.
