OBTAINED BY MISREPRESENTATION. COURT ORDERS RESTITUTIION. (Special to Daily Tram) AUCKLAND, May 18, How George Alexander Rednie, aged 10, a Canadian seaman, got a 'free trsun ride from Wellington to Auckland at the expense of the New Zealand 7Havy was told when the youth came before Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police .(Court this morning. Rennie admitted uhargcs of obtaining from Petty Officer Ehitton one kit bag containing two uniforms, boots, collars, flannels, a hat, and four badges, worth £3 18s, by falsely representing that he was George Harold Ktearney, of Hastings, and, further, with; obtaining a ticket from Wellington to . Auckland, valued at £2 4s 7d, by a aiipilar false pretence. “Rennie got the kit bag and railway ticket by falsely representing that he was Kearney from Hastings,” said Senior Sergeant Cummings, “He says that his reason for doing this is that ho was out of work and wantted to get a free ride to Auckland.
