PRINCESS THEATRE.

The Joe Brennan-Cyril Northcotc Revue Company brought its Dunedin season to a close at the Princess Theatre last night before a large and appreciative audience. The bright revue of music, dancing, and comedy provided by the company received an excellent reception. The usual scenes took place at the close of the performance, coloured streamers being much in evidence. ROYAL SUNBEAMS OPEN TO-DAY. At the matinee at the Princess Theatre to-day the highly popular Royal Australian Sunbeams will renew acquaintance with a Dunedin audience. The success of this company during the recent season at His Majesty’s Theatre is well known, and the enterprise of Sir Benjamin and Mr John Fuller in arranging for the apXiearance of the entire company at the Princess Theatre will no doubt be rewarded with large houses. “ The Wedding of Baby Doreen,” the opening production, is a vaudeville-musical comedy revue that sets off the talents of the juveniles jn marked fashion, and contains many items that could not be improved upon by any adult company. Particularly is this the case with the act* of the Royal Sunbeam Wonders, a troupe of girl acrobats and athletes whose beauty and grace arc no less attractive than the amazing acts they perform. Then, too, there is the almost sensational performance of Gwen Jones, the tiny flaxenhaired mite. The two boys of the company, Jackie Clarke and Harry Ussher, are also sure of a warm welcome oack, the one with his irresistible comicalities, the other for his wonderful voice. The box plan arrangements are advertised.
