Captain D. H. Hacking, head of the Department of Overseas Trade, has engagements with a number of chambers of commerce with a view to discussing plans for increasing British exports. His first engagement was with the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce to day ; on Thursday he will be the guest of the Southamption Chamber of Commerce, and on April 26 he will be the principal speaker at the annual meeting of the British Chambers of Commerce. It is understood that the principal topic will he an extension of the export guarantee scheme.— Australian Press Association.
