Mrs Macarthur beat Miss Bickerton. 6—4, B—6; Miss Akhurst beat Miss Heine, 6—2, 6—4; Miss Akhurst and Mrs O’Hara Wood beat Mrs Neave and Mrs Macarthur, I—6, 6—3; Misses Peacock and Heine beat Aliases Boyd and Bickerton, 6—4, 3—6, 6—l. At Port Elizabeth Landry beat Richardson, 6—2, B—6; Brugnon and Boussus beat Eaglestone and Davies, 6—3. 4—6, 14—12 ; Landry and Boussus met Richardson and Davies, the score being B—6, 4—6, 3—3.
