With reference to the formation of a private financial company bv Imperial ; Chemical Industries, Ltd., and a similar ■ company of New York, The Timea sa.ys that the new company should find plenty ;* of scope fop its activities. It is proper ■■ that the company should be a private one, administered by experts, and financed by ■; wealthy corporations. A financial corporation, with expert advisers, could ns*, fully fill the gap which now exists in the financial machinery of industry. v, The Daily Telegraph believes thatunder such practical guidance as this corporation commands the development of industries should be materially increased. .. The Manchester Guardian says it is'' difficult to realise the place the corporation aspires to occupy in the economic , organisation, but agrees that in the new industrial conditions there is scope for such a financial organisation with groat resources and technical experience.
