FIRE AND EXPLOSION
TRAGEDY IN MISSOURI. HEAVY DEATH ROLL. (United Press Association.) (By Electric 'Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, April 14. (Received April 15, at 5.5 p.m.) At West Plains (Missouri) 35 people were killed and 16 seriously injured as the result of a fire and explosion which wrecked a dance hall late on Friday. The ground floor of the building was used as a garage, and it is believed a large gasoline tank exploded.—Australian Press Association.
