If our teachers in tbe_ schools spent many hours each week in instructing the children till they were really enthralled in the wonder of ant life it would be better than all the abstract nonsense that their poor little brains are bewildered over and concerning which they are never really informed. Indeed, were the column which appears every Tuesday in your paper cn the wonders of animal nature made the subject of study in school what a wise and interesting set of young people we would have!—l am, etc., Ektebaius.
