(Feo.m Our Own Con respondent.) BALCLUTHA, March 17. BEING AND BUY FAIR. A very successful “ bring and buy ” fair was held yesterday in aid of the funds of the Balcluthu Primary School Committee. The gross takings amounted to over £llO, a result that exceeded expectations. CALEDONIAN SPORTS. Entries for the Sheffield Handicap at the sports to be held hero on March 24 number 24, and there are 22 for the 220 Yards and IS for the 440 Yards. This is said to be a record for Otago for similar events this season.
