RUN OVER BY LORRY. A business man is now lamenting his precipitate baste in crossing the street before looking to see whether the way was clear. So intent was he on filling his pipe that he was brushed aside by a passing lorry and, to his dismay, he dropped his tobacco, which was irretrievably crushed by the back wheels. The lorry driver at first was inclined to be abusive, but when he learnt that it was a packet of Bears’ Tobacco that had been lost he was very sympathetic, for, being a Bears’ smoker, he knew what a delicious blend it is. Have you tried it?? 8d an oz loose; also in handy packets, loz 9d, 2oz Is 6d. — Advt,
