SIMPLE SERVICE AT ALL SAINTS’ LONDON, February 20., (Received Feb. 21, at 1 a.m.)
Th e Earl of Oxford and Asquiths’ menservants carried the coffin to All Saints’ Church last evening, preceded by the village choir and men bearing torches, and followed by the Countess and her four sons. After a simple service, th© local people filed past the coffin, which was almost concealed by flowers and wreaths stretching from the doorway to the altar, —A. and N.Z. Cable.
