RETURN OF THE TWINS.

YORKSHIRE BABIES’ RECOVERY. -(From Our Own Correspondent.) LONDON. January 10. The Yorkshire twins, who, when two days’ old, travelled Horn Gawthorp co London wrapped in cotton wool in soap boxes as cradles, are now healthy and strong after several months’ stay at .the Princess Elizabeth Hostel (the Mothercraft Training Society’s Headquarters at Highgate Hill). Their names are Percy and Robert Raw, and they were prematurely born in July. On account of thei* weigiit they were sent to London for treatment—Robert, the oldest, weighed 21b and Percy 21b 7£oz. ‘lt was a very unusual and long journey for twins to make at the age of two days,” said Miss Liddiard. “We were very anxious about them for a time, but they gradually improved, and now Robert weighs slb 12oz and Percy bib 13oz. When they first came here they wore placed in cots surrounded by hot water bottles, but now they sleep out iii the open during tho day, and in a cold room at night with the windows open. Of course we were able to rear them with foster mothers, which is a great thing. These are the first premature twins we have had as small as this, and we are quite pleased with the wav they have got on I think they are perfectly healthy and ought to do quite well.” The nurse who brought the babies to the Truby King headquarters in London; is taking them home to their parents.
