BIG FIRE IN RIGA
COTTON MILL DESTROYED. (Press Association—By Telegraph— Copyright, i RIGA, February 9. (Received Feu. 10, at 11.35 p.m.) A girl who was dismissed from a cotton mill confessed after her arrest that she set fire to the mill in revenge. The premises were destroyed. The damage amounted to £40,000, and 500 employees were rendered idle. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
