SNOWSTORM IN AMERICA
MANY DEATHS REPORTED.
BURGLAR FROZEN TO DEATH,

The eastern part of the United States is gripped in a violent snowstorm, and (lie temperature is near zero. It is forecasted that this temperature will continue for some time. Many persons were injured in New York and Washington during, the storm. Seven deaths are reported in Chicago and the (treat Lakes region.
A negro burglcr. while attempting to enter a shoo, was caught by a falling window and frozen to death.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
