LASCAR CREW AT AUCKLAND,

(Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 30.

Passengers by the Aorangi, which arrived in Auckland last evening, were 11 officers and 44 Lascars, the crew of the steamer Clan Mncwilliam, which sank with loss of life after catching fir: in Vavua Harbour a couple of days after the vessel had loaded copra at Nukualofa. The party, which is under the charge of the chief officer, Mr M. G. M‘Lean, is proceeding to Sydney, where the Lascars will probably be diverted to Calcutta.
