BIEDWOOD.—Died at Auckland, James Stewart, second son of the late James Stewart Blrdwood and grandson of the late Judge Blrdwood, Bombay, and loved brother of C. Robertson. 450 Anderson’s Bay road. CALDER.—On January 15, 1928, at her parents’ residence, Milton street. Gore, E izabeth Seaton, beloved wife of Walter Calder, Wendon, and daughter of Mr and Mrs William Reid (late of Pyramid). GRANT.—On January 27, 1928, at her residence, 39 Duke street, JcannsUe, dearly beloved wife of Grigor G-ant (late of Tapanui), and mother of Mrs T. Barton (Marton). Owen (Invercargill), and Ira (Dunedin) ; in her seventy-eighth ydar. Private interment. No flowers.—R. M’Lean and Son, undertakers. HAGAN.—At Palmerston, on January 27, 1928, Robert Hagan, late of Tumai, husband of the late Catherine Hagan ; aged 91 years. ‘•At rest.”—The Funeral (by motor hearse) will leave his late residence, Palmerston, at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 30, arriving Waikouaiti Cemetery about 2.45 p.m.
