An aerial pony express between New York and London, on a 35-hour schedule, calling for eight landings on ships at sea, is planned by an American shipping corporation. Eight ships of the new Blue Ribbon Steamship Line will serve as midocean landing places for a fleet of passenger ’planes operated by the same line. The United States Shipping Board has been asked to aid with a loan of 80 per cent, of the steamships’ cost.
