(From Our Own Correspondent.) ROXBURGH, January 25. Splendid rain fell here on Monday night and Tuesday morning, (17 points falling up till noon. It was badly wanted, and will do a lot of good to all classes of growth. Till yesterday the month had ben one of continued hot, dry weather, and everything was burned up. It line been one of the driest spells the district has experienced for many years, and the position was beginning to get serious. The rain was therefore very welcome.
