THE LITTLE ENTENTE
DRAFTING OF .NOTE COMPLETED. PRESENTATION POSTPONED. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, January 25. (Received Jan. 25, at 10 p.m.) It is known that the Little Entente’s Note was drafted last week, but it has not yet been presented at Geneva, where the presentation is reported to have been postponed in deference to one of the great Powers, described as not wholly uninterested. Meantime Czecho-Slovakia is the latest to disclaim ownership.—A. and N.Z. Gable. A previous mesage read a s follows: “ There has been a great mystery about truckloads of camouflaged Italian machine guns discovered in transit at the frontier rail station of St. Qothard. Nobody knew to whom they belonged, and nobody would admit ownership. An Austro-Hun-garian Commission that investigated the matter now reports that Poland was the destination. Little. Entente circles, however, scoff at this finding. Tire Little Entente is lodging a protest to Geneva on Monday against arms smuggling by Hungary, pointing out that under the pence treaties permission must be obtained.
