THE TOTALISATOR
INSTALLATION IN BRITAIN. MEASURE TO BE INTRODUCED. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, January 24. (Received Jan. 24, at 10 p.m.) Mr Walter Guinness (Minister of Agriculture) announced that the measure to legalise the totalisator during the coming session would not be a Government measure, but the Government would take the opinion of the House of Commons. Personally, he would vote according to the wishes of his constituents. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
