MEMORIAL TO SCOTS SOLDIERS
NEW PRESBYTERIAN GARRISON CHURCH. (From Our Own Correspondent.) LONDON, December 14. Scotsmen in New Zealand will be interested to hear that last Saturday Princess Mary unveiled a tablet to the memory of Scottish soldiers who fell in the war. This has been erected in the new Presbyterian Garrison Church, Aidershot. Princess Mary is Colonel-in-Chiof of the Royal Scots, the senior infantry unit in the British Army, which was represented at the ceremony. There was also a detachment of cadets from the Royal Military College. Princess Mary wore a sea-green costume with helmet-hat to match, and a dark fur necklet. After the church had been dedicated the Princess pulled a cord and released the Union Jack with which the memorial tablet was draped.
