OBITUARY
THE DUKE OF RICHMOND. (Preaa Association —By Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON, January 18. The death is announced of the Duke of Richmond. —A, and N.Z. and Sydney Sun Cable. The Duke of Richmond wa s born in 1845, and was educated at Eton. He en tered the Grenadier Guards in 1865. He was A.D.C. to Queen Victoria. King Edward, and King George. From 1869 to 1885 he was member of Parliament for West Sussex. He. served in the South African War. and in 1917 was Chancellor of the Aberdeen University. His heir is the Earl of March.
