Thursday, January 19. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) DEFAULT CASES. Judgment was given for plaintiff by default in the following cases; — W. J. P. M'Culloch v. H. W. Trotman (Burkes), for costs (£2 4s) ; John M’Lennan v. C. V. Henderson (Waihola), £8 10s for gramophone supplied, with costs (£llos 6d) ; Phonographs Ltd. v. Herbert Bloxham (Ettrick), £l2 11s Id, for goods supplied, with costs (£2 13s) ; South Island Traders’ Agency v. D. J. Knowles (Waimate), £5, for goods supplied, with costs (£1 3s 6d) ; Laidlaw and Gray, Ltd. v. William Woods (North-East Valley), £29 Is 2d, for account owing, with costs (£4 3s 6d) ; Dunedin Industrial Co-op., Ltd. v. C. Richardson (Cavcrsham), for costs (6s) ; Co-op. Fruitgrowers of Otago, Ltd! v. W. B. Watson (Dunedin), £ls 10s 6d, for goods supplied, with costs (£2 16s) ; Paterson and Barr, Ltd. v. C. W. Henderson (Lawrence), £7 9s 6d, for goods supplied, with costs (£1 18s 6d). JUDGMENT SUMMONS. In a judgment summons case J. Lee and Sons v. J. E. A. Thomson (Dunedin), defendant was ordered to pay £l4 6s 6d, with costs (£l),. in default 14 days’ imprisonment.
