BURNS ANNIVERSARY.

Dio anniversary of (ho birth of Scotland’s bard Robert Burns is to be celebrated by tho Dunedin Burns Club in His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday e\emng' next. A feature of the programme will bo the reappearance of Mrs Wilfred Andrews and Mr Ernest M'Kinlay, two of Dunedin’s old favourites who, besides apl pearing in solo items, also render duets. The Rev. R. Robertson, of Mosgiel, has been entrusted with the address on this occasion, and is sure to please his audience in his expressions. Other well-known artists appearing will be Miss Valda M’Curdy (soprano) Messrs J. B. Timm, -on (elocutionist), W. Legal (violin), W. Hilliker (bass), and a reel party. The Burns Choir will render Burns items.
