In connection with this year’s celebrations in North Yorkshire of the bicentenary of Captain Cook, Major J. FairfaxBlakeboronsh has been requested, and has consented, to write an historical play, to be performed both at Marten, Captain Cook’s birthplace, and at Croat Ayton. where he was educated. The play’ will deal with the various chapters in Captain Cook’s life.
