TRINITY METHODIST CHURCH.
QUARTERLY CIRCUIT MEETING. The circuit quarterly meeting was held on Monday evening, the Rev. H. E. Bellhouse presiding over a fair attendance of members. The balance sheet was presented and considering the many demands on members at this season of the year, was considered satisfactory. The membership returns showed an increase of four for the quarter. Sunday school reports showed that good work had been done. At the children’s Christmas carol service £9 6s had been raised and distributed as follows: —South Island Orphanage £6 3s, Sunday school benevolent fund £2 Bs, foreign missions 15s. Mr A. H. Mr Cumber beach has consented to act as Mr Reed'successor pro tempore. It was reported that £lO4 had been collected during the year in aid of home missions, and £l2O Is 9d for foreign missions.
