Maps to the number of 90,000 and 25,000 boxes of papers are collected at the history section (military branch) of the Committee of Imperial Defence, They arc for use in compiling the official history of the Great War, which is not expected to bo completed tor about 20 years yet. Drugs have been discovered by British Customs officers secreted in metal Irodsteads, hollowed out oranges, kitchen utensils with false bottoms, and oven woven into rugs.
