MAORI HILL SCHOOL.
EX-PUPILS’ ASSOCIATION. The second annual meeting of the Maori Hill School ex-Pupils’ was held in the School, Maori Hill, on Thursday evening last before a small but enthusiastic attendance of members. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, the President (Mr F. Itolfe) stated that the association had had a very successful year and had quite justified it existence. Two very t successful socials had been held during the year, the second one taking the form of the twenty-first anniversary of the school. Tlie members were to be congratulated on the financial position of the association, a substantial sura being to the association’s credit. Messrs J. A. Fitzgerald and J. F • Wilson (headmaster) also spoke on the success achieved by the association in its inaugural year. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: —President, Mr I J. C Clark ; vice-presidents—Miss J. K. I Brown, Messrs J. A. Fitzgerald, J. t. Wilson, F. J. D Rolfe, and J. A. Borrie; secretary, Mr J. B. Collier: assistant secretary, Mr T. King; treasurer, Mr C. Pike; auditor. Mr J. Park: committee- -Misses G. Allen, A. FT indie, T. Xishet, Dr V. Grater, Messrs L. Xisbet, A. llindie, C. Wilson, and X. M'Kae. It was decided to present small prizes to tlie most improved player in each of I the school sports teams.
