RAILWAYS DEPARTMENTS INNOVATION. (Per United Press Association.! WELLINGTON, December 14. Tim Railways Department is about to introduce a parlour or “ cruisin'! ” car, equipped for sleepim* and the preparation of meals. In addition tn sleeping accommodation, there will bo a lounge, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Wherever there is a siding the car can be shunted off the lino o.nd remain stationary for as lontt as is required. “ Cmi.-im: ”by train Is said to have become popular elsewhere.
