A correspondent writes to The Times that many motorists who go into the country on Sundays would like to attend morning service at some country parish church, if only they knew where to put their cars. He suggests that the clergy or other residents should permit cars to be put in a carriage drive, “or some suitable private spot near a village church,” so that the motorist and his party might attend the service. In Berlin the difficulty is being met in another way. According to a correspondent, one Protestant church announces it will hold services on Saturday evenings in order that all who wish to stay out in the conn try over Sunday may yet be in a position to attend service. This will be called the week-end service. Nevada is now a State without a tram, buses having entirely supplanted the street car system.
