FIRES IN WELLINGTON.

TWO SMALL OUTBREAKS (Feb United Press Association.! WELLINGTON, December 14. Two small outbreaks of lire occurred in Wellington to-day. At 3.44 p.m. an outbreak occurred on the premises of J. Ilott, Ltd., advertising agents, Jervois quay, 'nie supposed cause was a smirk from the incinerator on the ground floor igniting some paper refuse. Tb■; office and contents were damaged. The second fire occnred at 3 p.m. in Broadway Buildings. Courtenay place. The fire originated in the premises of Horace Burton Rose, who occupied portion of the first floor. While endeavouring to save the stock Mr Rose was struck by falling glass, receiving several painful cuts on the forehead ami forearms. He was removed to (hr hospital., but his condition is not serious.
