LODGE MEETINGS.
The half-yearly meeting of Court Pride of the Port Juveniles, A.0.F., was held in the Buffalo Hall, Port Chalmers, on Monday, December 5. C.R. Bro. A. Pryde presided over a large attendance of members. The Juvenile Council, the Adult Management Committee, and other visitors were present. The election of officers for the ensuing term resulted as follows:—C.R., Bro. Miller; S.C.R., Bro. Telfer; S.W., Bro. M'Dowall; J.W, Bro. R. Finch; 5.8., Bro. B. Finch; J. 8,, Bro. Duggie. The officers were installed into their respective chairs by Bros. Walmsley, AXacfie, and Benfell, of the District Council. After the meeting had closed games were indulged in and supper handed round by the ladies of the court. The meeting of Court Robin, A.0.F., was held in the Buffalo Hall on Tuesday evening. The C.R., Bro. L. F. Smith, presided over a fair attendance of members. It was decided that during the summer months the court meet at 8 p.m. instead of 7.30 p.m. Sick pay and accounts were passed for payment. An invitation from the Druids Lodge to be present at th© public installation of that lodge was accepted. The report of the court members on the Dispensary Board was received. Arrangements for the Juvenile Court anniversary were finalised. Notices of motion for the district meeting, to be held at Invercargill at Easter, were proposed for consideration next fortnight. The C.R. thanked all those members of the Adult Court who had subscribed towards the juvenile Christmas treat.
