BIG INCREASE IN NOVEMBER. HIGHEST FOR THREE YEARS. (British Official Wireless.) CPres* Association —By Telegraph Copyright ) RUGBY, December 12. British exports rose with a bound in November, amounting in value to £70,500,000. This is the highest monthly figure since July, 1924. It is an increase of £9,500,000 compared with October, and an increase of £17,500,000 over November last year and an increase of £9,500,000 over November, 1925. The character of the increase is even more pleasing than the amount, for when compared with November of last year the articles wholly or mainly manufactured rose by £13(000,000. The principal increases were: Iron and steel and manufactures thereof, £2,750,000; cotton yarns and manufactures, £3,500,000; vehicles, including locomotives, ships, and aircraft, £175,000; and woollen and worsted yarns and manufactures, nearly £1,000,000. The imports for the month totalled £107,500,000, being an increase of £2,500,000 compared with October, and a decrease of nearly £6.000,000 compared with last November.
