IN PURSUANCE AND IN EXERCISE of the Powers and Authorities vested in it by “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and of all other statutory powers enabling the Hampden Borough Council in that behalf, the said Council doth hereby make the following By-law, namely: “NO PERSON shall operate, drive, or draw, or cause or permit to be operated, driven, or drawn, any Vehicle, Machine, or thing propelled, driven, or drawn by mechanical power on any stroc; of the Hampden Borough, or on any part thereof, at a speed greater than (IS) eighteen miles per hour, and round any corner of any such street or streets such speed shall not be greater than (6) six miles per hour.” The above By-law was duly made by Special Order passed at a Special Meeting of the Hampden Borough Council, held on the 11th day of November, 1927, and confirmed at an Ordinary Meeting of the said Council held on the 10th day of December, 1927.
