SWIMMING.

PRIMARY SCHOOLS’ CHAMPIONSHIPS. Special atractions are offered at the primary schools’ championship swimming carnival to be held in the Municipal Baths to-night and to-morrow night. Over 400 competitors will contest the various events, and the public will have the opportunity of witnessing the youthful swimming champions in action. In ‘addition to the championship events, the Schools’ Swimming Committee has arranged for several local champions to odve exhibitions. Miss K. < Miller will give a swimming demonstration, and Messrs W. Boyd and R. Calder an exhibition of diving To-morrow night Miss M. Jepson will be see nin action, Mr P Mathieson will give an exhibition of fancy swimming, and Messrs Calder and Boyd will again give a diving display.
