SOUVENIR RECORDS.

It has long been the ambition of book lovers to collect autographed copies of works by famous writers. Musicians, too, have sometimes been fortunate enough to persuade composers to autograph printed copies of their compositions. Dunedin music lovers are this week to have a wonderful opportunity of a similar nature, an opportunity that very rarely happens oven in the musical centres of the world. Joseph Hislop, the international tenor, whoso reputation stands at the top in every country of the world, has consented to autograph all copies of his records purchased in Messrs Charles Begg and Co. s warehouse on Friday evening next. These autographed records will be wonderful souvenirs of the visit of this great artist, and are sure to be keenly sought for. Music, lovers are invited to Messrs Begg and Co.’s premises on Friday evening next to meet Mr Hislop, and to obtain one of these valuable mementoes of his visit.
